Cypriot mum making a living by selling her breast milk to body-builders

Breast milk contains a lot of nutrients and vitamins to help a baby grow during its first few months. Sure, there are baby formulas that non-lactating parents can use, but breast milk is by far the superior option. 

Well, Rafaela Lamprou has found that her milkshakes certainly do bring the boys to the yard after discovering a huge online market.

Young Greek Cypriot mum who gave birth to son Anjelo last year found that she was producing more breast milk than her seven-month-old baby could drink. Instead of chucking it down the drain or storing it for later, Ms Lamprou has found body builders crave the liquid to help them grow muscle.

Some people would think drinking breast milk as an adult is pretty disgusting. Whatever the case, it does spark a lot of questions.

Is it better or worse that it’s at least not their mum’s breast milk that they’re consuming?

Would this be vegan friendly?

Do you drink it straight or have to mix it in with something else?

At first, Rafaela was selling it to mums who couldn’t naturally produce breast milk but then men started approaching her for her product. She’s since produced a whopping 500 litres since embarking on her little exporting franchise and has raked in about £4,500.

It started with men who were interested in body building. They say it is good for building muscle mass, but then I started to get enquiries from men with fetishes,tThe 26-year-old said.

Now I breastfeed on demand. I have no idea what they do with it but they tell me they consume it.

It was a bit strange at first giving breastmilk to a guy with fetishes but as long as it is just that and not asked to show any part of my body, I don’t mind it at all. I am open minded.

She has no idea how long she’s going to be able to keep up the venture and feels she may as well take advantage of the situation while she can – especially if she’s making thousands of pounds for selling something she produces naturally.

If I could find a group of people that would buy my spit then you could bet your bottom dollar I’d have a bucket next to me to package that shit.

The mum’s husband is supportive of her selling her milk to bodybuilders and fetishists but she insists that she actively avoids the proper creeps.

If you’re still sat there wondering why the hell anyone would opt for breast milk when there is a ton of variety at your local supermarket then rest assured, there is a reason behind it. Breast milk not only contains more calories than your standard brew, but it also has growth hormones – however there’s doubt whether you can actually get any bodybuilding benefit from it.
