Baby Judi who was abandoned in North Cyprus Hospital is dead
Just few weeks ago, precisely
in mid December, 2017, the Cyprus community received good news concerning 11-months-old
baby, Judi who was abandoned in a Lefkosa hospital in North Cyprus by his
Nigerian parents because he was disabled when he found a new home, but less
than one month after he was adopted, baby Judi has passed away.
Judy reportedly died on Monday night.
According to report, Judi suddenly had a disturbance at about 12:30am on Tuesday. He was rushed to the Famagusta State Hospital in an ambulance but lost his life before the ambulance could reach the hospital.
Judi who was born in January, 2017 was taken to the Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkosa for treatment by his Nigerian parents who were students in the country when he was four months old but was later abandoned in September because he was disabled.
A statement released by the hospital at the time said;
He was taken care of by the hospital staffs before he was handed over to a family in December.
Judi's mother was diagnosed with cranial pathology anomalies during pregnancy. The pregnancy was eight months old when Judy was delivered and according to doctors, it was a miracle that "Judi" survived the anomaly as babies born with cranial anomaly are either born dead or lost their lives shortly after birth.
Following several well publicized pleas for financial help for Judi, he finally saw a reason to live a normal life when a family applied to become his protective family.
Judi then lived with his new parents in the village of Vadili.
Police say they currently investigating the cause of his death.
This baby does not deserved what he got from his parents.. May his soul rest
in peace.
