Cyprus Weather: Rain and thunderstorm expected within the next few days

Rain and thunderstorm is expected within the next few days according to a weather report by the North Cyprus Department of Meteorology. 

According to a weather report released by the Department on Wednesday covering the period from Thursday, December, 21 to Wednesday December, 27, the region will generally be cool and humid with the Low Pressure System.

It will be partly cloudy on Thursday but very cloudy after lunch time in the afternoon, then a few rain with early morning fog while the region will be affected by cold and humid air mass on Sunday and Monday. 

On Saturday, it will be mostly cloudy and rainy after lunch while on Sunday, there will be showers of rain and partly cloudy in the morning with thunderstorms.

On Monday, it will be partly cloudy with rain showers or thunderstorms. Tuesday and Wednesday will be cloudy.
 
The highest temperature within this period will be around 20 - 23 degrees inland and in mountains and around 15 - 18 degrees on Sunday and Monday.
