Champions League Draw: Real Madrid to play PSG and Chelsea get Barcelona

The Champions League round of 16 draw is out and defending champion Real Madrid is billed to battle it out with big money spenders, Paris Saint Germain for a place in the last 8, while the tie of the round will see Spanish giant Barcelona square it ll out with English champions, Chelsea.

Manchester United have been drawn against Spanish side, Sevilla in a first ever competitive meeting between the two sides, Manchester City play Basel and Liverpool are up against Porto, while fellow English side, Tottenham Hotspur have a tough test in Italian champions Juventus.

Bayern Munich, who finished second to PSG in Group B, play Besiktas and Shakhtar Donetsk take on Roma.

One of the biggest tie of the round, will sees Madrid -- winners in both 2016 and 2017 -- face a PSG side widely considered among the leading contenders to win the trophy this season after bringing in Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Dani Alves in the summer.

All seeded group winners will play away in the first legs before hosting the second legs at home.

All ties to be played Feb. 13, 14, 20 and 21 and March 5, 6, 12, 13

Also in the Europa League, Arsenal who secured top spot in their Europa League group, and still seeking their first European trophy under Arsene Wenger will play Swedish club Ostersunds FK in the round of 32, while Diego Simeone's Atletico, who reached the Champions League final in both 2014 and 2016, enter the competition after finishing third behind Roma and Chelsea in their Champions League group.

The other draw will see AC Milan, now under coach Gennaro Gattuso, play Bulgarian club Ludogorets Razgrad, Borussia Dortmund, who finished third in their Champions League group behind Tottenham and Real Madrid, resume European action under new boss Peter Stoger against Serie A side Atalanta.

Also, Italian side Napoli take on German club RB Leipzig, with both sides having dropped out of the Champions League, while Celtic play Zenit St Petersburg, Lazio take on Romanian side FCSB and Lyon face Villarreal.
