Bar set ablaze in Famagusta, 1 killed
A bar in Famagusta and four vehicles were set ablaze in the early hours of Monday morning killing an Iranian citizen working at the bar.
The incident happened at the Big Boss Bar located at the UN Peacekeeping Camp in Ismet Inonu Boulevard, known as Salamis Road at about 3:55am on Monday morning.
According to report, the victim of the incident who is an employee at the bar, and identified as Ali Rezay Rasekh, 65 reportedly die in a bedroom of the building.
According to a statement made by the Police, the bar was set blazed with flammable material in an operation it described as an act of arson and manslaughter.
It was also stated that the person and / or persons responsible for the arson is being searched for while investigation continue into the incident.
