Man dies after falling on a construction site in North Cyprus
A Turkish Cypriot man working on a construction site in Kyrenia lost his life while working on an electricity installment on Tuesday Morning.
According to reports, Suat Agcabey, 42, was fatally injured in the unfortunate incident when five hardboards which were leaning on a wall fell knocking him to the ground. Suat sustained injuries to his head due to impact with the ground.
The victim was transferred to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoglu public hospital in Lefkosa, but despite doctors’ efforts, Suat was said to have passed away at 6 o’clock on Tuesday evening.
He is the sixth fatality arising from work-related incidents in the first seven months of 2017 and the 49th in six years.
