Image of pregnant Donald Trump being cradled by Vladimir Putin projected onto New York buildings

New Yorkers were on Tuesday treated to a hilarious image of pregnant US President Donald Trump being held and caressed by Russian president Vladimir Putin. The image which was projected onto a succession of buildings across Brooklyn and Manhattan in the US on Tuesday night, has gone viral for the wrong reasons.

The hilarious image, with the hashtag #lovethroughhate showing Putin kissing Trump's shoulder which first appeared on Valentine’s Day, decorated the side of a building on 14th Street and Eighth avenue and a second building on North 6th Street and Wythe Avenue in Brooklyn.

The image which appears to be a mocking illustration was actually an ad to promote a new New York City-based dating app that links people together through shared dislikes.
