Mariah Carey demands that her billionaire ex fiancé buy her an Los Angeles mansion as part of $50 million settlement
US
singer Mariah Carey has demanded that her former fiancé James Packer
buy her a home in Los Angeles as part of her alleged $50 million
settlement, after the couple broke up in Greece last month
following a yacht bust up.
According to reports by gossip website TMZ, the Australian billionaire tycoon allegedly ordered Carey out of the Beverly Hills mansion they shared together but has refused to leave.
TMZ claims that Carey is now demanding for a new home in Los Angeles along with a massive $50 million payout because she brought her two children from their base in New York to live with him in California and also because the breakup left her in such a mess that she had to cancel her Latin American tour.
TMZ also reported that tension began between the couple when the former chief spokesperson for the Church of Scientology, Tommy Davis was brought in to help cut down on excessive spending in Packers' businesses.
Davis allegedly complained that Packer was spending an exorbitant amount on lavish gifts for Carey, which resulted to arguments between Davis and Carey's manager Stella Bulochnikov.
