Mariah Carey begged Nick Cannon for divorce so she could marry billionaire fiance only to get dumped few days later

Mariah Carey had a very poor timing when she decided to quickly end ties with former husband Nick Cannon to allow her marry billionaire fiance James Packer.

According to reports, Mariah had personally called Nick Cannon to grant him the divorce after years of waiting and just days before her relationship with Packer crashed.
 
Nick and Carey were married for six years. Nick announced their split in August 2014 and filed for a divorce in January 2015. 

The former couple finally settled their divorce in September this year, after Carey allegedly called Cannon personally and said, “I want you to sign the divorce papers. I really want to get married to James Packer.”

Carey who is now 100 percent single again is spending time with her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka.

She also asked Packer for a multimillion-dollar settlement.
