Kanye West admitted in hospital after tour dates were cancelled

US rapper Kanye West has reportedly been admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles on Monday shortly after the remaining dates of his US tour were cancelled following days of strange antics, in which he confessed himself as a Donald Trump supporter and also called out Beyonce, Jay Z and Hillary Clinton, which got fans and analysts questioning his mental well being.

According to a report by NBC News, West was hospitalized for his own health and safety after police responded to a "medical welfare" call on Monday afternoon.

West tour promoter, Live Nation had earlier on Monday announced the cancellation of the remaining of West's 2016 Saint Pablo tour dates of the US and Canada.

Live Nation said on Twitter that it would refund tickets for the remaining dates of the 2016 tour, which had been set to continue in Orlando, Philadelphia, Washington, Boston, New York and Toronto, Canada.

Kanye's days of weird behaviour started on Thursday in San Jose, California, where he interrupted his stage performance to rant about politics, declaring his support for US president-elect Donald Trump and scolding fans.

Also on Saturday in Sacramento, California, he provoked his fans when he started his concert 90 minutes late, then abruptly broke it off after just three songs and went on a tirade against Hillary Clinton, Jay-Z, Beyonce and other public figures.
