''I will cut my green card and start packing if Trump wins'' - Wole Soyinka

Nigerian Noble laureate Wole Soyinka has bear his mind on the up coming US presidential election coming up next week. According to a report by the Guardian, the Noble laureate said he will destroy his green card and leave the United States if the republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump wins the election.

According to the report, Soyinka, who is a scholar-in-residence at New York University’s Institute of American Affairs, disclosed his plan in a speech to Oxford students.
He is quoted as saying, 

“If in the unlikely event he does win, the first thing he’ll do is to say (that) all green-card holders must reapply to come back into the US. Well, I’m not waiting for that.

“The moment they announce his victory, I will cut my green card myself and start packing up.”

Three weeks ago, Soyinka backed Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for the US job.
