French police say they found a piece of Kim Kardashian's stolen jewelry

French police say they have found a piece of Kim Kardashian stolen jewelry that would provide a vital clue as hunt for the armed gang who robbed the 35-year-old reality TV star of her jewelry worth millions of pounds at gun point in her Paris apartment early Monday last week continues.

According to reports, a gemstone dropped outside the Paris hotel where Kim was robbed could provide vital DNA evidence in an investigation which has so far recorded little progress, despite taking the centre stage of global media interest.

According to the DailyMail,

‘A piece of stolen jewelry was found close to the block, and was probably dropped by the armed gang,’ a source close to the investigation revealed. ‘It suggests that the criminals may have made mistakes because they were in such a hurry.’

Kim has filed a £4.5 million insurance claim for the stolen items, which includes a £3.2 million engagement ring given to her by her husband Kanye West in 2014.

According to reports, Kim is also set to seek a fortune in compensation to cover her trauma and lost earnings.

The source also confirmed that the mother of two ‘is beginning civil action in order to recover losses’.
