US man provoked by poker shoots 3, kill 1

US: A 77-year-old man Larry Rosenberg on Wednesday shot three people, killing one and wounding two others at the senior apartment complex where he lived. According to reports, Larry had been angry about frequent poker games in the building's common area.

Larry shoot and killed himself as police closed in on him in a neighbourhood about a mile away.

An acquaintance of Larry, Mary Eastman, 80, said he was unhappy about the poker.

"His problem really was that damned poker gambling. That was it. That was all he complained about,'' Eastman said, referring to a letter Larry had written to her.

According to Eastman's daughter, Margaret Rosso, Larry had become detached in recent months.

"He started getting more and more distant, complaining about the facility and about people and just kind of pulling away, isolating himself more and more,'' Rosso said.

Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Dan Long did not identify the victims or give any information about the conditions of the wounded.
