Syrian forces recaptures parts of Aleppo from rebels
Syria: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Sunday reports that the Syrian government forces and it's
allies have recaptured areas in southwestern Aleppo from rebel control,
after heavy bombardments and repeated attempts to drive the militants
back.

Areas recaptured from the rebels includes the Weaponry College and the air force Technical College in the Ramousah area on the city’s southwestern outskirts.
The areas was captured by rebels in August in an attack that broke through a government siege on Aleppo’s opposition-held eastern sector.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who is backed by Russia, Iran and the Lebanese Shi’ite group Hezbollah, wants to recapture the whole of Aleppo which is Syria’s biggest city.
