Spain rescued 177 migrants off Spanish coast

Spain: 177 migrants from sub-Saharan Africa, including eight children have been rescued on six boats off the southern Mediterranean coast by Spanish authorities on Tuesday.

According to Spain's maritime rescue service, it said it had spotted some of the boats by aeroplane. The maritime service sent ships to carry out the rescues at various points on the country's southern shore, including near Malaga.
