Pastor commits suicide after sending pictures of manhood to church whatsapp group

South Africa: A pastor from Limpopo, South Africa, has committed suicide after he mistakenly sent a picture of his manhood to his church Whatsapp group said report.


The pastor identified as Letsego of the Christ Embassy church who is married thought he was sending the picture to his lover, who is a member of the same church.

The pastor reportedly captioned the picture “wife is away; it’s all yours tonight.”

The pastor then realized his mistake when shocked church members expressed their dismay and questioned why a pastor would send such a vulgar pictures on Whatsapp.

The pastor is alleged to have immediately left the group and stopped answering his calls.

He killed himself the next day after he was found 24 hours later hanging in his rented church house. said report.

According to reports, prior to the incident, the pastor reportedly forged a close bond with a female church member identified as Miriam.



A member of the pastor's church who pleaded anonymity said:

“Pastor’s antics have always been a cause for concern, he was always seen in the company of one of the deacons named Miriam and we suspected there was more to their friendship than meets the eye.

“Quizzed by his wife and congregants, he would shrug off the allegations and say as a Pastor he was a father to everyone and Miriam was his favourite Daughter.”

It was not confirmed if Miriam was the intended recipient of the picture.
