ISIS bans women from wearing burkas after commanders were attacked by veiled assassins
Iraq: Islamic state terrorist group ISIS in a bizarre turn of events has back-flipped on its decree ordering all women to wear burkas and are now banning women
from wearing burkas in security centres in Monsul, northern Iraq and also declared the full-face veils a security risk.
According to reports by The Express,
an insider told Al Alam News Network that terrorist chiefs had changed
the rule following a series of attacks on ISIS commanders by women
wearing burkas and niqabs in recent months. But it is also understood that women will still be required to cover themselves completely when they are in public.
The policy change comes after the Syrian city of Manbij was liberated by government backed forces as women were seen throwing off and burning their niqabs on the ground after Syria Democratic Forces regain control of the city after two years of hard-rule under Islamic State.
