6.1 magnitude earthquake strikes southern Philippines

Philippine: The US Geological Survey says an earthquake of 6.1 magnitude has struck the southern Philippine island of Mindanao on Sunday. The earthquake struck at a shallow depth of 10km, 12km northwest of the town of Hinatuan. There were no reports of causalities or damage and no tsunami warning at the time of the report on Sunday.
