117 years old Mexican woman dies after receiving birth certificate

Mexico: A 117 year old Mexican woman Trinidad Alvarez Lira, died few hours after she received her birth certificate on  Wednesday.

Trinidad Alvarez Lira had waited for so many years for proof that she had been born in 1898.
She had been denied all the government old age benefits she was supposed to be entitled to because she had no proof of her age.
According to the city Department of Social Development, they had finally granted Alvarez her birth certificate earlier in the week, but she passed on of a heart attack on Wednesday.
Seemingly Alvarez Lira couldn't cash a single cheque of her benefits.
