YouTube star Christina Grimmie killed at a concert

US: YouTube star Christina Grimmie 22 was shot on Friday night by an unidentified gunman after performing at the Plaza Live concert with the band ''Before You Exit'' in Orlando. The police also said the shooter shot himself.

Authorities said, violence erupted after the show ended. Grimmie was signing autographs and helping to sell merchandise when a man approached her and fired.
The gun man who had two guns on him was tackled by Grimmie's brother who then shot himself during the ensuing struggle, according to police. 

Grimme was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but she later gave up due to sevre injuries she sustained. In a statement, her publicist announced:

"It is with a heavy heart that we can confirm that Christina has passed and went home to be with the Lord. She was shot at her show in Orlando and, unfortunately, didn't survive the gun shot wounds. We ask at this time that you respect the privacy of her family and friends in their time of mourning."

Grimmie, who shot to fame on YouTube finished in third place during season six of NBC's "The Voice."
Police said it was investigating the motive behind the attack and that there were no other suspects in the shooting.
