Four killed, six wounded in Tel Aviv shopping centre shooting attack

Israel: Four people were killed and six wounded in shooting near central Tel Aviv by two gunmen who opened fire in a busy shopping and restaurant complex on Wednesday night. 
An hospital source said; 

“The death has just been determined of three persons,” said a statement from Ichilov hospital, near the complex across the street from Israel’s defence ministry and main army headquarters.

“We are talking here about a pretty serious terrorist incident,” Tel Aviv police chief Chico Edri told reporters.

“Two terrorists arrived at the complex and while firing and to our regret nine people were injured to different degrees.

“Of the two terrorists, one was arrested and the other wounded by gunfire,” he said.

“The weapons they were carrying have been seized… we do not know of another terrorist at large and so from our point of view people can return to their normal lives.”

Police sources term the attack a terrorist attack

According to the deputy director of Tel Aviv's central Ichilov hospital, Gil Fire, four people died of gunshot wounds in the emergency room.
Three of the six injured victims also had life-threatening wounds, but doctors managed to stabilize them, he said.
One of the attackers was shot by police and was also being treated in the same hospital, while the second attacker was overwhelmed and arrested and currently being interrogated, police spokeswoman Luba Samri said.
Mrs. Luba confirmed that, both attackers are Palestinians from the southern West Bank town of Yatta.
Moments after the attack, the Gaza-based leader of the radical Islamist Hamas movement Ismail Haniya, re tweeted a picture of what seems to be the attacker that was shot, with the caption: "One of the heroes of the Tel Aviv operation."
 According to witnesses, the two gunmen, were dressed in dark clothing and appeared to be regular customers, sat down in Sarona's Max Brenner cafe and ordered food. But they then pulled guns out of their bags and began shooting, first inside, then outside.
Footage from a surveillance camera showed people running in fear into another cafe.

A saleswoman at a clothing chain, Meital Ganon, said clients also ran into her store, shouting "Terrorists! terrorists!"

"We shut the doors. People knocked on the doors to let them in and we opened them to let them in," she said, adding some of her clients fainted.

The shooting comes days after over 35,000 foreign tourists thronged to Tel Aviv for the city's annual gay parade on Friday.
