Brazilian centre back Marquinhos is on the brink of leaving Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Sun. The defender has been behind the defensive pairing of David Luiz and Thiago Silva, and is now set to the center of a bidding war between Premier League powerhouses. Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United
according to the report are all keen for his services, while the report
also claims that Barcelona are leading the pack due to Marquinhos'
interest in joining the Catalan giants.
Spurs enter the race for Henrikh Mkhitaryan
The Metro are reporting that Tottenham have joined the list of teams keen on Dortmund ace Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Spurs join Arsenal and Chelsea as interested parties for the Armenian, as the report says Mauricio Pochettino
is in the market for someone to relieve the burden from Christian
Eriksen. Spurs will test the waters by bidding for Mkhitaryan, which
means a bidding war between three of London's biggest clubs is set to
break out, as the 27 year old is considering his options.
Barca and United to bump heads over Sevilla's Krychowiak
Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak is set to be targeted by
both Man United and Barcelona, according to the Sun. The report says
that Barcelona manager Luis Enrique sees the Polish international as the perfect back up to Sergio Busquets
and able to hold down a defensive midfield role for the Catalan giants.
Krychowiak, who also has Arsenal and Manchester City eying the transfer
situation, is believed to be worth around £30 million after his
involvement in helping Sevilla capture a third straight Europe League
triumph.
Everton want Ronald Koeman despite him talking down move
Everton's pursuit of Southampton
manager Ronald Koeman is set to go up a notch, as the Mirror are
reporting that his contract talks with the Saints have hit a snag. The
report says Everton are hopeful of a positive development as the Dutch
manager returns from his end of season holiday, with the club's new
major shareholder Farhad Moshiri considering Koeman the top off-season
target. The report says that another contender, three-time Europa League
winner Unai Emery, could be on the cards due to his contract buy-out clause dropping to £2 million from the Spanish club.
