Former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan returns to Nigeria

Former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan who had been away from the country for some time now, returned to Nigeria on Wednesday via the Port Harcourt International Airport Rivers State. 
The former President, arrived Nigeria from Cote D’Ivoire and was received on arrival by different groups.

There had been reports that Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was possibly moving to arrest him, forcing him to proceed to exile in Cote D’Ivoire.

Jonathan however denied reports that he was on exile.

According to reports, Dr Jonathan spent some time in the United Kingdom and Côte d’Ivoire during his long absence from the country.
