Former Italy PM Berlusconi in hospital

Italy: Former Italian Prime Minister and Chairman of AC Milan football club, Silvio Berlusconi, 79 has been admitted to hospital in Milan for a heart problem.

According a family spokeswoman, his condition is not life threatening.

Berluscooni, a centre-right leader was four time prime minister of Italy.

San Raffaele hospital in a statement said, that his stay in hospital was necessary after what it called a "cardiac deficiency".

Berlusconi, who had a pacemaker implanted in a US hospital when he was 70, would undergo tests "in the next few days" to determine the proper therapy, the hospital statement said.
