Five killed as assailants stormed Afghan court
Afghanistan: Three attackers attacked a court in Afghanistan's southeastern Logar province on Sunday morning killing at least five people, including the new head of the court.
In a statement by the head o security for Logar police, Nesar Ahmad Abdul Rahimzai, said;
"The new head of the court was being introduced today and the assailants used the rush hour opportunity to attack the court,"19 other people were wounded in the incident said Rahimzaion. The attack was over, with all three assailants killed by Afghan security forces.
This is the third of such attack on court premises after 6 militants were hanged by Afghanistan including 4 Taliban members, in May.
No group has laid claim to the attack yet.
