Buhari abandons his planned visit to Niger Delta for Ogoni clean up

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari in what can be described as a last minute move, has put off his plan to visit Ogoni, in Niger Delta, Rivers State which was scheduled for Thursday to flag off the cleaning exercise of Ogoni-land ravaged by oil spillage.

Recall that the Niger Delta Avengers on Wednesday told the president his life was in danger and issued a warning to the president to sign his death warrant before embarking on the trip to the Niger delta region.
Reports says he will now be represented by the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
