Bobby Brown says Whitney Houston was bisexual

Celebrities: In Bobby Brown's new memoir, Every Little Step, Brown 47 revealed that late ex wife, Whitney Huston was bisexual.

According to Brown, Whitney Houston had a hidden romance with her female best friend and assistant Robyn Crawford and believes she may have denied the rumors due to her mother’s strict religious beliefs.

Bobby wrote about Huston's drug use and his attempts to save daughter Bobbi Kristina, among other revelations in his new memoir. 

“I know. We were married for 14 years,” he told Us Weekly.

"I know,” he told the magazine when asked about Whitney's relationship with Robyn. “We were married for 14 years. There are some things we talked about that were personal to us.”

Despite Houston's obvious relationship with Crawford, Brown insists Houston was bisexual, not a lesbian.

"I'm a man and she was attracted to me," he told the magazine. 

Whitney and Robyn met in New Jersey as teenagers, Robyn worked as Whitney's assistant and later, as creative director. 

"I really feel that if Robyn was accepted into Whitney's life, Whitney would still be alive today," he said. "She didn't have close friends with her anymore."

Brown also claimed that Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, never approved of the same-sex relationship and tried to have Robyn fired.

Robyn never confirmed the relationship, even after Whitney's death in 2012.
