 Caitlyn Jenner will make a first public appearance when she appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated, dressed in an American flag with her Olympic gold medal in an acknowledgement of her life

as a male champion athlete before she transitioned. The appearance on the magazine’s summer cover will coincide with the 40th anniversary of her world record-breaking victory at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, when she won the men’s decathlon event as Bruce Jenner.
