TRNC government raises minimum wage
The new minimum wage in north Cyprus has been raised by the Minimum Wage Determination Commission following the recent hike in prices of commodities and fuel in the country.
The minimum wage, which was 2,364 TL as at the last time it was reviewed in May, 2018, was raised to 2,620 TL with an increase of 256 TL.
The new minimum wage will now be as follows;
-Hourly: 14.88TL,
-Daily: 119.09TL,
-Weekly: 595.45TL, and
-Monthly: 2,620TL
This will be the second time in 2018 that the minimum wage has been reviewed and raised.
256TL.... Of what difference does it make? Just saying...
